welcome to the commissions tab! here you can request custom, one of a kind artworks to decorate your home, gift to a loved one, and more. commissions require some communication between the client and artist to make sure everything is up to the clients standards, so you may receive a few emails from abbottarts with additional questions and clarifications after filling out the commission form.

commissions are separated into seven different categories: tufted rugs, digital art, physical art (paintings, drawings, etc.), woodburnings, murals, tattoo designs, and miscellaneous art (sculpture, resin art, jewelry, etc.). please fill out the commission form corresponding to the type of artwork you’re looking for.

TUFTED RUG COMMISSIONS

the price of tufted rugs very highly on size. pricing may change on other smaller factors, but generally, rugs are priced between $90- $225

maximum rug dimensions are 4ft x 5ft

rugs can be made in traditional shapes (circle, square, etc.) like the moon rug pictured or amorphous shapes like the medusa rug.

DIGITAL ART COMMISSIONS

digital art commissions are very open-ended, here are a few examples of some of the most common:

pet portraits, pet memorial drawings
fanart of characters from clients favorite shows and movies
portraits as wedding gifts, birthday gifts, etc.
drawings of original characters for d&d campaigns

this type of commission is generally one of the cheapest options, since shipping costs are not a factor. the only contributing factor towards pricing is the amount of detail included.

PHYSICAL ART COMMISSIONS

physical art commissions include 2D mediums like acrylic paint, ink, colored pencil, marker, linoleum print, graphite, and more.

while physical mediums are generally more limiting than their digital counterpart, commissions are still widely open-ended. if you’re looking for something with extreme detail like a photo-realistic portrait, it is recommended to chose the digital option. with the nature of physical mediums, some stylization will always be present.

commission prices vary on size, medium, and other materials needed to complete the commission such as canvas, linoleum block, etc.

WOODBURNING COMMISSIONS

the client has the option to either mail abbottarts an item that they would like to have woodburning art on or have abbottarts purchase the item themselves and factor the items price in the total commission cost.

woodburning commissions are incredibly versatile in terms of what kind of canvas is used. anything from wooden keychains to spoons to planks and blocks of wood can be used.

the larger and more detailed the commission is, the higher the total cost will be.

MURAL COMMISSIONS

mural commissions are only available for clients within the cincinnati area. if the space you would like to be painted is more than 20 minutes outside of this area, abbottarts is unable to fulfill your commission request.

murals can be painted on most surfaces, some of which are drywall, brick, interior or exterior walls, pavement, and ceilings. size and detail are the top two highest contributors to the mural commission total. keep in mind, murals often take months of planning and painting, so mural commissions need client/artist communication to be completed in an effective manner.

abbottarts is NOT a licensed tattoo artist, all tattoos on skin have been tattooed by other artists. all designs are by abbottarts

all designs shown are in the fine line style, but commissioned pieces for any tattoo style are welcome. pricing depends on the intricacy and detail of requested design.
